We will be hosting Susan Greening Davis on January 20th, 2024. Susan has been designing, lecturing, and studying the needlerarts for 47 years. She is bringing her beautiful huswif to Victorian Rose and this will be a very special day. The piece is pre-sewn by Moda for French General. Susan has designed a piece on linen with over-dyed floss and perle cotton. There will be a touch of vintage lace from Brugge's that is over 150 years old. Don't miss this opportunity to study, laugh and share memories with Susan. Susan will also be presenting a lecture on this date presenting many of her antique samplers from her personal collection. She has them dating back to the 1600s. You will be intrigued by the history, stitching and stories of the young embroiderer's information. This presentation will be like traveling the museums of Europe without the travel time! You will be intrigued and mesmerized when you get to examine them. Susan is a wealth of knowledge and a "fun" presenter. She promises to have a little gift for all.
Lunch is included in the package. Limited spaces available. The class will be held in the shop.
