Victorian Rose ABC des Fleurs
New from Victorian Rose Needlearts, ABC des Fleurs. Most likely of English origin the reproduction features a floral alphabet with a train and crown/scepter. The original was unsigned and undated, so we will never be sure of the origins. We date the sampler to the mid 1800s due to the stitching style. The model was stitched on Fiber On A Whim 40 ct Milk & Honey wth Victoria Clayton Hand-Dyed Fibers Victorian Rose available on her website (two micros were used). Thanks goes to Robert Smith for his beautiful stitching of the model.
