Victorian Rose is excited to present Helen Patom, our 2025 exclusive from Queenstown Sampler Designs! Helen is a beautiful Scottish sampler with breathtaking roses, a Scottish house with a dog in the yard, peacocks, and a deer. The verse on the sampler is from 2 Corinthians 5:1-11 reads,
“Soon shall this earthly frame, dissolved, in death and ruins lie; But better mansions wait the just, prepared above the sky.”
Details:
The stitches in the sampler are cross over one and two, queen, long arm, 4 sided, back, padded and counted satin, tent, and eyelet. Clear diagrams are provided. This piece is not suitable for Aida.
We will have a stitch along for Helen on Victorian Rose Stitching Corner on Facebook starting May 1st in order to allow time to get supplies in. The second photo shows our proposed stitching journey for the year. We’re taking it in small chunks to allow time to stitch other pieces in our rotation, but stitchers are encouraged to stitch at their own speed.
